Neurotoxin Injections, Explained
Neurotoxins such as Botox® and Dysport® are FDA-approved treatments that temporarily relax the specific muscles that cause expression lines. The skin above them smooths out, while your natural expression stays intact when the dose is right.
Treatment takes about 15 to 30 minutes. Results usually begin to show within 3 to 7 days and typically last 3 to 4 months.

Which One Is Right for You?
Botox®
The most widely studied neurotoxin, used for frown lines, forehead lines and crow’s feet, as well as several medical uses.
Dysport®
A similar botulinum toxin type A with a slightly different formulation. Some patients notice it settles in a little sooner.
Both are FDA-approved. Your injector will recommend one based on your anatomy, goals and past results.

How long do results last?

Who is a good candidate?
